This Trio consists of piano, drums, and sax/clarinet, and all three band members do vocals. While their repertoire does include easy-listening standards from the 1950's and '60's, quite a bit consists of songs from the 1920's on up through the Swing Era. Based in the North West Arkansas area (Fayetteville) the Cat'z Meow performs swing and popular variety dance classics of the last 70 years of the millinneum, in three part harmony vocals reminisent of the Andrew Sisters and the Manhattan Transfer. Their instrumentation consists of piano, keyboard, bass, drums and cross-key harmonica. With two new CDs now available on the Monogram Records label titled "Swing Jump Jive and Jazz along with some other Way Cool Stuff" and "Christmas 2000 with the Cat'z Meow". This great band has been playing dances and various other venues for nearly a decade. Working out of Vermilion, Ohio, the WJBB plays weekly on Monday nights in the Lake Erie Lounge in Vermilion. The WindJammer Big Band is part of a 501-C3 non-profit association, and therefor provides music at very reasonable rates. Their repertoire covers the 1930s through the 1980s, with blues, big band, jazz, rock, and lots of swing music. The WindJammer Big Band carries six saxes, five trombones, five trumpets, piano, string bass, guitar, drum set, a full Latin percussion section, and vocals. This Montebello, California based big band features a screamin' horn line, two talented vocalists and a roarin' rhythm section. Their repertoire includes the swingin' vocal hits of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Peggy Lee; classic big band favorites from Glenn Miller, Perez Prado and Buddy Rich; and The Wiseguys keep audiences on their feet and dancing with vintage mambos and cumbias.
