Tour Band: A band formed from among members of the bands above (and other supporters) specially for the 1999 European Tour. TOP   [ The Scledum Jazz Orch. ]
Nominally based in Schio (Vicenza/Italy), this classic 20 man Big Band tours a very wide area. Formed in 1980, the band has continuosly grown both in execution quality and in local fame. It's their passion that has allowed them to stay on the scene for so long, even though members do not gain any money from this activity, but use their income only to keep the Band alive. The band has participated in some very positive "Tournee" in European countries as well as different Jazz "Festivals". The band's repertoire is very large and has such challenging styles as 1940s Big Bang Swing, Latin and even 'Funky', --and that makes for extremely pleasant and involving shows. Alternating with the instrumental numbers, a gentle singer enriches and complete this wonderful group.
