TANGO LESSONS:

These lessons let us learn how to dance this incredible music: Tango. The dancers are Mora Godoy and Osvaldo Zotto.
Here's a 'hotlink' for the Tangocity website.
Although the lessons were numbered 1/20 --- they ended at 12/20.
Two of the most important Tango dancers in the world, Mora Godoy and Osvaldo Zotto, show and explain us through easy and amusing lessons how to dance this wonderful music. Although the Osvaldo Zotto/Mora Godoy videos can convey the impression that Argentine tango is a collection of frozen step patterns, they remain a standard by which to judge the quality of other videos.

Known for having one of the best "caminatas" (walks) in Tango today and a master of enrosques, agujas, and lapices, Jorge is also one of the few teachers of the Villa Urquiza style of Tango. This is the style made famous in the milongas at Club Sin Rumbo and Sunderland. Marita -"La Turca"- has a unique musicality and is precise in her use of adornments. They both learned from Gerardo Portalea, "El Turco" Jose, "Milonguita", Carlos Estevez "Petroleo", "Cachito" Montegaza, "Finito", Jose Lampazo, and Alberto Villarrazo; the original dancers who developed the Villa Urquiza style of Tango.

As teachers, Jorge and Maria have a superb talent for pointing out the little details that add elegance to a Tango dancer's dance. Being milongueros all their lives and having seen and learned from the founders of the Villa Urquiza style, they have an uncompromising view of the Tango aesthetic and musicality that is invaluable. They have taught many of the young Tango stars of today. Their daughters Geraldine Rojas (24) and Samantha Dispari (14) are already recognized as two of the best Tango dancers in the world. Jorge & Maria have also taught Javier Rodriguez, Sebastian Arce, and Andres Laza Moreno, to name a few)
They teach all over Europe and are based in Buenos Aires. They can be reached at jorgeylaturca@hotmail.com

These 3 videos are courtesy of Ney Melo
Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt dance an elegant style of social Tango which is rooted in the traditions of the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza in Buenos Aires. Ney and Jennifer have recently taught and performed in Romania, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia as well as extensively all over North America. Together they organize 2 annual tours to Buenos Aires for dancers (where they live for 4 months of the year).
