Stephane Grappelli on violin and Django Reinhardt, on lead guitar. Also on guitars, Joseph and Roger Chaput. The fifth man was Louis Vola on Bass Fiddle. Occasionally, Jerry Mengo was a vocalist.
Members of the Quintet often formed the nucleus of bigbands that would accompany visiting American jazzmen such as Coleman Hawkins; Benny Carter; Dickie Welles; Rex Stewart; Bill Coleman; Eddie South; and Frank "Big Boy" Goodie.
