What an exciting time!

From the world of the silver-bright cabarets of Germany's Weimar Republic, and the bright-light clubs of Paris, to the Great Tango Orchestras in Poland, Finland and Russia, - it was a time of wonderful excitement and of wonderful entertainment. American Jazz was mixing with European Pop and South American Tangos.

The songs were all a mix of the joyous, and the dark, the sad and the haunting, and all of them defined a time that was very special.

We have attempted to present mini-biographies for all the wonderful bands and their stars. You will be transported back in time to listen to the music and to watch many of the bands on stage.
