Subject: Need to find a position in a Big Band
Hi all you Band Leaders in the Midlands area of the UK. I want to join one as I have just left the VCO Big Band. Great band but limited in the outlook and ethos. They just don't want to work very often and there are no modern pops etc.
Perhaps a showband or Mecca style band would suit me best but I love singing the Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble stuff also.
Please contact for details and pictures etc.
Thanks again and please help ! ! Paul Q

Subject: Charts wanted
Hello, I'm director of a small community big band and we're trying to build a library. We have the standard charts to play but are looking for stuff that's more challenging. One tune in particular is Just One of Those Things by George Stone. The original copy of his arrangement would be ideal. We also need female vocals. Brian Setzer's version of A Nightengale Sang in Barkely Square would be nice. None of our charts are in pdf format so trading of full charts would be difficult. If you need specific parts to tunes I'm more than willing to copy them and send them to you via facsimile or by mail if we have it. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.
