Subject: NEW BAND CHARTS POSTING FORM

NOTICE:
We are testing a new " Band Charts Posting Form. "
The Form uses "Image Verification" and has also been simplified somewhat.
This new Form is accessed in the usual way, - from the "Band Charts Form" prompt near the top of any Charts page,
NOTE: Some users may have to "click" their "Refresh" or "Reload" browser button 5 or 6 times. (Else they may be seeing the old chart in their broswer's cache.)

"Clicking" on the "Why?" prompt next to the image will tell why we are using this type of Form.

SHOULD YOU EXPERIENCE ANY DIFFICULTY, WE STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL BAND CHARTS FORM ONLINE AT THIS URL:
        http://www.nfo.net/charts/charform.html

We have also changed our standard "Comments Form" to the new Image Verification method. The Form may be accessed by running your mouse cursor over the "Contact Us" prompt on the horizontal Navigation Bar (near the top of all our pages), and 'clicking' on 'Comments". ( If needed, you may also use the older Band Charts Form as a Comment, - or the support eMail address below. )

If anyone has any problems with the new FORM, we would appreciate hearing about it. While we cannot answer each individual message..ALL will be read and acted upon where appropriate.

Subject: Crash of the worst kind
Almost all of my trades from 2007 just went away! A failure in the power surge protector cooked both my hard drive and the backup drive and several backup disks are unreadable!

Also gone are my email addresses of those friends who have been so helpful this last six months. I know this is a lot to ask, but if any of you have the time and can help me recover, I will be forever grateful and do whatever I can to reciprocate.

Of course any strangers who would like to trade are always welcomed. It looks like I'll have 800 of the 1100 charts in some form and will reclean or straighten anything that you'd like.

Subject: Rhumboogie (1944) and Pushin Sand
Need 2nd seat alto sax part to Vic Schoen's 1944 manuscript-sized arrangement of "Rhumboogie".
Schoen made two different arrangements of this piece, one in octavo sized paper dated 1940 for 4 saxes and 6 brass and the other in manuscript size dated 1940 AND 1944 for 5 saxes and 6 brass. The part I'm missing is from the 1944 manuscript size.
Also need trombone 1 to what appears to be a hand-written version of "Pushin' Sand". The instrumentation on this is 5/4/3/4. Nice chart and tune! How many other swinging instrumentals did Kay Kyser record commercially?
Appreciate the help! Trade?

Subject: White Christmas (Holmes)
Christmas concert next Thursday (20/10/07) so get out White Christmas Arranged by Roger Holmes.
Problem! page 2 of Tenor 2 has last line of Coda missing.
Now how this has not been picked up before I have no idea, second Tenor player has just joined so he might be keen.
It is not a great disaster but has any body got a good copy of this page so that the chart is complete.

Subject: La Virgen De La Macarena
I'm looking for the big band arrangement La Virgen De La Macarena that was written by Ramon Flores for George Graham and his big band. It is a trumpet feature. The song was on George Graham's CD titled: "With A Lot Of Help From My Friends" released in 1997. I tried to contact the arranger twice via his own website to inquire about his arrangement but he never answered back. I have over 1000 arrangements and would be happy to trade.
